The Italy Made Easy Academy takes student safety very seriously.
We are so lucky that Manu’s Italian courses attract a very kind and trustworthy group of students and so far, there have been no issues. The Academy is set up in an exclusive manner, so that only people serious about learning Italian will have access to interactive features and engaging with other students. In a preemptive strike however, we would like to ensure our students are able to keep themselves safe, and know the steps to take if something should occur.
Security
The only time you need to disclose bank details is when purchasing courses and additional features on Manu’s special Academy website, which is secured, automated, and private. You enter your bank details yourself and do not need to give them to anyone else. At no time will Manu, or any of the support team, ask a student to disclose personal details, such as a home address, bank card details, or any other social security or personal details. You also should not tell these to any other students. Please report to Manu immediately if somebody requests these from you.
Safety
In the case of verbal abuse, harassment, or any other inappropriate behaviour by other members that otherwise ruins the harmony of the Italy Made Easy Academy and interactive learning spaces (Forums, Chats, Videos, etc.), please screenshot or take a photo of the inappropriate behaviour and details of the offending member, and send it to us so we can address it. Mild offences will be given a warning, and extreme offences will result in an immediate ban, with no refund for the offending member. Seriousness of an offence is decided at Manu’s discretion. The Italy Made Easy Academy will always be a safe place for Manu’s students.
Reporting Online Safety or Security Breaches
You can report any of the above unacceptable behaviours by submitting a support request ticket by clicking here, and clicking the button ‘Submit Ticket’. Please title the ticket ‘SECURITY BREACH‘, to alert the team to the urgency, so we can address the issue as soon as possible.
Thank you for your help in keeping our online community a safe and fun environment for our students.
